Contribuí para a eleição do Presidente Lula e tanto eu como tantos brasileiros que fundaram o PT enfrentamos muitas dificuldades ainda no final da ditadura”, declarou o parlamentar ao declarar que não será fácil sair de um partido que ajudou a fundar: “Não é fácil sair do PT. Para mim, que venho de um quilombo, filho de camponeses, não é fácil sair do PT. Mas, infelizmente, as circunstâncias do meu Estado me obrigam a iniciar um processo de saída do Partido”.
Domingos Dutra relatou o lamentável ocorrido nas eleições de 2010 quando o PT estadual decidiu democraticamente pelo apoio ao então deputado federal, Flavio Dino(PCdoB) e o PT nacional anulou a eleição, dando total apoio a família oligárquica, Sarney, que ainda impera no estado. “Infelizmente, essa vitória não valeu. O senador Sarney moveu céu e terra e, ao final, conseguiu a intervenção, anulando o nosso encontro e entregando o PT do Maranhão para a oligarquia Sarney”, explicou.
“Nesses 3 anos, o PT do Maranhão tem sangrado. Vários militantes saíram do partido. Esperei pacientemente esses três anos para que a conjuntura mudasse. Infelizmente a situação do PT do Maranhão é a pior do Brasil. Eu digo que é um partido de duas cabeças. Uma cabeça do PT, a cabeça oficial, está no curral do Sarney, e há outro grupo tentando derrubar o curral do Sarney para libertar o Maranhão. Mas, infelizmente, eu não vejo perspectiva de essa relação mudar em função da prioridade da reeleição da Presidente Dilma, na qual o PMDB é partido prioritário”, proferiu Domingos Dutra.
O parlamentar não escondeu sua dor pelo provável desligamento e disse ainda haver chances de se manter no PT. “Com dor no coração, estou iniciando esse processo de construção de um novo partido.
