A senhora Maria Helena Rocha Diniz, 70 anos, mãe de 14 filhos, a maioria pescadores, que mora há 36 anos no bairro Garrancho, no município de Raposa, procurou a equipe de reportagem do jornal e portal 4º PODER, para denunciar o estado de abandono no qual estão deixados os moradores do bairro.
De acordo com Maria Helena, se as autoridades dos governos municipal e federal não tomarem uma atitude imediata, ela poderá perder a casa, assim como milhares de outras famílias de pescadores que residem, há anos, no local.
Maria Helena demonstrou um carinho especial pela governadora do Estado, Roseana Sarney e afirmou acreditar que apenas a governadora do Maranhão poderia solucionar o problema que perturba milhares de moradores, do Garrancho.
Na madrugada de quinta-feira (28), a matriarca de pescadores relatou ter vivido momentos de terror, com a violência do mar, que invadiu sua casa pelos fundos. ‘As pancadas do mar estremeciam a casa inteira’, desabafou Maria Helena. Veja abaixo os relatos:
