Presidente nacional do PT diz não ver razão para trocar Lupi

O presidente nacional do Partido dos Trabalhadores, deputado estadual Rui Falcão, afirmou há pouco, durante a abertura do 2º Congresso Nacional da Juventude do PT, que não há denúncia comprovada contra o ministro do Trabalho, Carlos Lupi. “Vendo o teor das denúncias, não vejo razão para substituí-lo”, disse.
De acordo com reportagem publicada pela revista “Veja”, Lupi usou um avião alugado por um empresário dono de ONG que tem contratos milionários com o ministério.
Segundo a revista, o ministro fez uma viagem oficial ao Estado do Maranhão em dezembro de 2009 a bordo de um avião turbo-hélice King Air “providenciado” pelo empresário Adair Meira, de Goiânia (GO), que comanda uma rede de ONGs que mantém convênios com o ministério no valor de R$ 10,4 milhões.
A “Veja” afirma que ONGs de Meira foram alvo de investigações na CGU (Controladoria Geral da União) e já teria havido até pedido de devolução de recursos ao governo.
A viagem de 2009 se destinou ao lançamento de um programa de requalificação profissional no Maranhão.
Além de Lupi e do empresário, estavam no voo, segundo a revista, o então secretário de Políticas Públicas de Emprego do ministério, Ezequiel Sousa do Nascimento, o ex-governador do Maranhão, Jackson Lago (morto em abril último), e o deputado federal Weverton Rocha (PDT-MA).
A revista afirmou que Nascimento confirmou que quem “providenciou” o avião foi Adair Meira.
O deputado Rocha afirmou à revista que o avião foi alugado pelo PDT, “através do governador” Lago, num valor estimado em R$ 70 mil. O objetivo seria atender compromissos da agenda oficial do ministro Lupi.
Ainda segundo a revista, o avião pertence a uma empresa de Goiânia (GO) –mesma cidade da sede da ONG comandada por Meira–, a Fundação Pró-Cerrado.
Meira e Weverton Rocha não foram localizados. Nascimento não falou.
