Jamil de Miranda Gedeon Neto Presidente do Tribunal de Justiça do Maranhão assumiu o Governo do Maranhão nesta quarta-feira, 2, pelo presidente da Assembleia Legislativa, Arnaldo Melo (PMDB).

Ocorreu na tarde de hoje (2), a solenidade no Palácio dos Leões, e teve participação de autoridades políticas maranhense, João Alberto de Souza secretário de Programas Especiais, Luís Fernando Silva chefe da Casa Civil, Aluísio Mendes secretário de Segurança Pública e Cleonice Silva Freire desembargadora e presidente do Tribunal de Justiça interinamente.
O atual governador Jamil Gedeon, disse que irá permanecer no governo até segunda-feira, 7, justamente quando a governadora Roseana Sarney retorna da viagem.
Na manhã de desta quinta-feira, 3, o governador Jamil Gedeon a desembargadora Cleonice Freire, irão entregar na cidade de Caxias, o novo Fórum Municipal que há tempos a população desta cidade esperava. Já na sexta-feira, 4, participará, da solenidade de comemoração em São Luís, dos (198) anos do Tribunal de Justiça do Maranhão.
Esse é o quarto governador em sete dias, na verdade segundo informações, Roseana Sarney temia a permanência de Washington Oliveira no comando do governo nos dias de sua ausência. Isso é fato!
