MPF denuncia Marcos Valério e esposa por lavagem de dinheiro
O Ministério Público Federal (MPF) em Belo Horizonte denunciou, ontem sexta-feira (28), Marcos Valério e a mulher dele por lavagem de dinheiro.

Entre setembro e novembro de 2005, o Conselho Administrativo de Atividades Financeiras (COAF) registrou movimentações de dinheiro e contas de titularidade atípicas em nome da esposa de Valério e de uma empresa, que tem como sócios administrados os acusados. De acordo com o MPF, após investigações, foi feito o pedido de quebra do sigilo bancário dela e da companhia.
O MPF também informou que os recursos movimentados pelos denunciados tinham origem em contas que operaram o esquema do “mensalão”, operação de compra de apoio político do qual Valério é suspeito.
De acordo com o MPF, grande parte dos valores originou-se de depósitos em contas mantidas no Banco Rural e no Banco do Brasil. Ainda segundo a denúncia do ministério, as contas eram utilizadas para praticar os crimes financeiros do “mensalão”. O MPF também informou que, em depoimento, a mulher de Marcos Valério afirmou que o marido era o único responsável pela movimentação das contas.
